My temp guage regularly cycles between 140 and 190. Wasn't there an updated themostat part number to take care of this? Could someone repost please? Thanks!

I replaced mine a while back (twice). The first try was one from just a parts store that looked like it was out of a car. The gauge would move around a lot. The second one was from Dodge and it still does move but no where near as much. Mine cycles in the same range as yours.

I don't belive there is a problem if your coolant guage cycles. The radiator has such a large capacity to cool that if your not working the engine the coolant is cooled to the point that the thermostat closes until the coolant is hot enough to cause the thermostat to reopen.
Just my 2 cents worth.
