when i was on the fire dept... a few of the truck's had On-spot's on them very cool and THEY WORK!



it wouldnt be hard to make them work on a pick-up,,, just some fab work and a diffrent actuator, or air supply

Hmmmm, I do have a CnC plasma cutting system in my garage and a very large welder. What I don't have is the bending equipment. I think I am going to give them a call tomorrow and see if they make them for pickups. They show some in their pic.

School busses and emergency Vehicles have these for obvious reasons. some OTR trucks are putting them on, and they are air actuated beats getting frost bite.

Those would be nice to have, especially if you only need the extra traction for a short amount of time.

I have seen a On spot dealers F-150 running around here with a set on it. We also have them at the FD, and while there nice, there no replacement for the real things when the white stuff gets over 8"
