These trucks are BAD!

I'm pouring a new driveway next weekend so this long weekend I get to rip out the old concrete. I loaded up my 93 1 ton 4x4 ext. cab over the top of bed height. I jambed it tight because they charge by volume not weight. I'm estimating atleast 5000lbs. I'll have an exact # tomorrow. Anyway, I live on a hill. I let out the clutch and up the hill I go. No throttle! It was as if I had no weight at all! Just this afternoon, my wife commented on how slow we go up a hill UNLOADED and said "We really need to get a car. " I explained to her I could go just as slow loaded up as I did unloaded. I have a '76 F250 with a built 390,rv cam that can really "get it". (no flames because I worked that poor truck harder than I should've for years and it made ALOT of money for me. ) and could kill the Dodge in a drag race, but even that $2000. engine can not compare to the mighty Cummins at high capacity weights! I'm still in awe! I honesty can't understand why some of you freaks (I mean that in a good way) feel the need to bomb this monster! Well, it's time to relax and drink a few adult beverages.
