My dad has a 2005 cc/drw/psd when towing a 40ft weekend warrior to glamis ocer thanks giving. while accelerating about mid 3rd gear about 2900 to 3200 rpm a loud whiste/screaming noise coming from like the area were the intake is at, realed throttle to 1/2 way and noise went away. truck has airad intake,rbp turbo back exahust with no cat and no chip. truck has auto,with 4. 10 rear gears and boost gauge did not flactute when problem occurs.

That site is a joke!! I got kicked off of there, for having ideas that conflicted with theres. Of course then I proceeded to call the moderates Nazi warlords, but that doesnt change the fact that I hate that website!!! I mean this was while I was still 100% Ford that I got kicked off, for saying that Ford isnt the best truck built and if it was everyone would drive one. They told me to cool down, but I stuck to my guns and got booted I guess I showed them and now have my Cummins

Yup... typical of those guys I noticed that yesterday. I have had several of my posts deleted by the mods over there, and i was`nt even being a smart aleck or rude... go figure. I guess my support of a diesel with the proper number and configuration of cylinders was annoying to them... HA HA!! They can`t stand getting a little teeny tiny chink in their armor over there, WAYYYY too thin skinned in you ask me.

And if you have the "D" and/or "C" in your sig, they don't like you either, even if you have a Ford diesel as well.

I hung out there for about a year and a half while I was healing from my lobotomy... . dooooh, I mean owned an Excursion 7. 3 diesel.



They are real quick to shoot you down and discredit (or try) anything negative you have to say about those precious (and not in the cute sense, more like fragile china) power strokes. To think, they think it’s cool to carry a 10MM socket, ratchet and a $150 dollar CPS sensor around in their glove box for when it will fail next. I went through two in 40K and it was traded on the next Monday.



I would never own a Navistar/International powered vehicle again. Enough said.
