What a sad day for America!



My prayers to those who lost family in this mess.



My wife and I will watch the skys above our house tonight, I am sure it will be filled with air tankers refueling the warriors on the first payback mission.



My prayers to those who will be traveling in harms way to bring our wrath to the enemy.



My prayers to the innocent who live near the source of this attack.



One of those flights is one I take regularly to CA. Very chilling indeed... .



I have a group of traveling students from Israel at my house now, letting them use the internet to reach their families. It is an interesting perspective to hear them speak of living every day like this one day in America. Hopefully we can get beyond this before too long. Not to forget the loss but to try and recapture the lifestyle we all so love.

Israel made the mistake of letting innocent people live after God told them not to leave anyone alive. God punished Israel for it. We have made the same mistakes(Surgical air strikes). Satan tells us we are mean, bad people for killing those innocent people that harbor terrorists, not God.

I was on my way in to the city and then up to Westchester cnty this morning. . Picked my boss up, on the way to pick up the sales manager we we're bithn about things at work, got to the city/nassau border to pick up the salesmanager at his house and he said we had to come in and see what was on tv, live... WTC north burning because a plane flew into it. . just as we are watching the live video... . we see the other plane bank into WTC south... . and the idoits on the news are wondering if it's a navagation or FAA flight control problem that now two planes flew into the towers... ... . our jaws were on the flew, the salesmanager and I both imediatly thought terrorist attacks and he didnt want to cross the bridges... so we called it off. the salesmanger called his boss, the vp of mkt/sales and told him we werent going and this vp ******* says it was an accident... we told him we just watched a second one bank into the other tower and it aint no accident... at this time cbs was still wondering if it was a FAA control problem..... numbnuts... . than they closed all traffice and bridges in and around the manahtten island.....



My brother used to, thanks god, work in the border books in the WTC. my sister used to work across the street in a new office and my father used to cover manahtten for security... thank GOD they're all out of there and thank GOD we did have early appointments ... .



I got tears, I got shock, I got two friends, one a cop the other a fireman. . don't know how and where they are...



I pray for all, and for all those 1st responders that were in there when the buildings fell apart, and all in the planes and buildings.



There was a report of 3K religous fanatics dancing and celebrating in one country just after the attacks... my 1st thought... drop a bomb on the city square where they're dancing...

This includes an immediate suspension of more than $100 million in direct aid to the PLO mandated by the Wye Accords and the $75 million in indirect aid to the PLO.

Roadranger, I certainly hope and pray that you are not right. I too believe that most of our politicians are corrupt and self-serving but I also think that Bush is a good leader and will do the right thing.



I thank God that Al Gore is not our commander in chief at such a time as this.

In this wonderful world of mass deception (& destruction), is it not possible that another country that stands to gain from us blasting the crap out of the middle east might have pulled this off?



How difficult would it be to look, act and follow the lead of the middle east terrorists so that the united states might, could or probably will react before we are sure.



So we need to react swift and hard but also with the correct target. (Not to say that there are not some out there who need to be nuked for sins of the past. )

I guess the US Marshalls will be getting air miles again. Something dramatic will have to happen with regards to flight security or people like me who travel for a living will find ways to avoid it.

An American Day

The sun sets on a sad, painful day for America. But tomorrows dawn will show a nation united in a greater resolve to banish this sort of horrendous act from our shores. Amidst the sadness and despair over actions we cannot reverse I would like to take a moment to thank some people. Here on the Mass. coast I will sleep soundly tonite. I will have sorrow for those lost, resentment for those behind it, but I will not fear my safety. In a nation where commercial air traffic is suspended, I hear a sound, and I know I am not alone. Many thousand feet over my head familiar lights tell me my 'neighbors' will be working tonite... Knowing how well they will do their job lets me sleep. To the many of our members who also serve our Uncle's call and as the son of a Veteran, I thank you. May you have a quiet flight tonite - I know I will. God Bless You, God Bless America!!

Like Roadranger, I too do not feel that GWB has the balls to do what needs to be done. I said this in another post as well. I hope he proves me wrong and does the right thing. One thing he said tonight bothers me though - "bring them to justice" CANNOT mean courtroom justice. The only correct justice is death in this case. His response needs to be swift and sure!

A softspoken manner often signifies a bigger "pair" than that possessed by a loudmouthed "cowboy".



The wording chosen for this evening's speech delivers quite a clear, concise, unmistakeable message. Nutless/gutless politicians typically choose to take advantage of double or triple meanings. Such wording was not present.



He's got the balls. I just wonder if the people who keep him informed will give him the data to make his decision. I don't wonder that very much, though.



---In regards to "forgetting the sleeping giant", they probably never read anything having to do with WWII, and especially if it has an indication of the US being a victim that overcame... Can't forget something that you chose to avoid knowing.
