Guns, Bows, Shooting Sports, and Hunting Youth 22

At 5:30AM sunday I woke up an looked at the window shade in the camper and it had an orange glow to it. Opended the shade and the ridge on the other side of the campground was on fire.

It was much worse then, thank goodness it started raining shortly after. I tried to take pics when it was dark and really burning good but they turned out to be white spots on black background.

The white items between the pine trees are RV's. On top of the ridge about 1/3 in from the right there is a big blurry bump in the smoke. That is a house. I could hear the fire dept pounding on the house trying to wake the people up. That is quite a distance.

a big Thanks to Helena Hotshots for putting the fire out.

WOW... haven't watched or heard the local news and did not know you're on fire down there. Hard to think that there is still fire danger when I am getting snow up here with temps dippin' into the low 30's at night.
