so I can stockpile this stuff! so I obnly have to pay 3. 25 in liue of 4. 50 gallon If it ever gets that high. Been thinking about a 50 gallon Transferflow tank to go in the bed as well.

It would be nice to have a 1,500 mile interval between fillups!

Diesel vehicle owners will soon be purchasing additional 250gal 'fuel oil' tanks used for oil-fired burners/furnaces... plumb them up in parallel in your basement and draw off it for the furnace and the diesel engines.



Oh yeah, I also found on the 'net a blue dye that will turn any diesel or fuel oil blue... what would the DoT say if they sampled your fuel and it was blue?



I'm not advocating such practices, but desperate times call for desperate measures.

So how long is it gonna take for WVO setups or bulk tanks to justify themselves in saving?

Tell me about it. I have been running between 1550 and 1600 miles between fillups and it WAS costing me about the same. I timed it right and filled up three days ago @ 2. 39/gallon in my hometown. At lunchtime today, area stations were up to around 2. 75-2. 80 a gallon. I hold about 85 gallons +/- total and usually get about 3-4 weeks out of it. Wonder where it'll be come October 1. I can guarantee i'll make it longer on this/these tanks. As long as humanly possible.
