Pulling doubles; dual brake controllers?

Need suggestions for an on-board air system

hi, you'll. i am thinking about lowering the rear end of my truck, i suppose

you have heard many times how the new 4 x 4 sit very high specially if

towing a fifth/er which is my case, i am thinking about removing the 2 pcs

5/8" spacers between the leaf springs and the axle. my question is are the

shocks going to be ok as far as suspenssion travel and also the leaf springs

is there going to be a difference without the spacers? if anybody has done

this what is your experience?

I did this on one of my trucks... ever time you wish to pull the caliper to check the brakes you have to drop the axle from the springs by loosening the u-bolts to get the caliper free..... this is the only problem I've had...

I did it on mine using the info on klenger's site. Not hard to do, and it made a big difference hauling the fiver. Just had to adjust the headlights down afterwards. That was easy too. I highly recommend it... ... .
