Thinking about the Dodgezilla for the 12V

Question about Gauges

I was wondering especially from you 12V guys who are running the Dodgezilla, what you thought about it? I have been running a search on it and have came up with many many posts on the Dodgezilla, but hardly any of them were 12V owners.



I think this turbo will be in my budget with the non-wastegated housing. I do not know what size housing to go with though. My truck has the 175 pump, #10 plate, 4K GSK kit, and most likely will get 370's. I do not mind if it spools a hair slower then the stock HX35/12 as I have the 4. 10 gears.



I want to weigh out all of my options. Here are my options as of now:



1. Get the Hybrid and a non-gated housing



2. If I need a gated housing over a non-gated housing, which is $300 more, I might as well save few more $$$ so and get a full PDR HX40/16 w/ downpipe & clamps.



3. Get the hybrid minus the housing and use my stock 12cm gated housing and save $500+ over a PDR40 (that is if a gated housing is best for me)





Am I really going to need a gated housing? What would the pressures get to if I had a 16cm non-gated housing?



I figured the 12V guys might be able to help me out more here.

I want a reliable 400rwhp towing.

How heavy to you tow?



I don't tow myself, so hopefully those with some experience can pitch in here, but I would guess that if you only tow light you'd probably be okay with the wastegated 12. If you find that it's a little hot at full-throttle, a non-gated 16 is only $150.



If you tow heavy, I would guess that you're probably better off going with the bigger turbo.
