ANYBODY DO THIS YET ? ANY RESULTS AND OR RESULTS ?

I am currently trying a Smarty and if you like a ton of SMOKE youll get it but as for power, it does not even come close to my TST.

If you want a nice set up keep the TST and stack it with a Edge EZ, the turbo spool and power is awsome when stacked

P. S. the adjustability on the fly with the TST is also a plus

I realize that this is the '03-'07 forum, but I run both on my 01 and love it. I leave the smarty at 3 for towing and actually leave the tst off to tow. Get plenty of power that way. I can always pump up the tst if needed, but at $5 a gallon why bother? The Smarty adds timing as well as some fuel, the tst is only fuel. They work together well.

I have both, but have not stacked them yet either.

I like the TST because it gives me smooth power without the smoke. It however brings on the power pretty quick and you need to be careful with your stock turbo. I had to upgrade my turbo after one week with the TST.

I like the Smarty, it makes good power but smokes too much for towing. However the low egt's with the Smarty are nice.

The TST will drain the rail on your truck on 5X3 fairly easily and the egt's sky rocket. I am running around daily on 3X2 and have been enjoying the TST at that setting.

I will be stacking and playing in the future, but after the new turbo and clutch I need to be careful not to break anything.

I think daytripper63's results may be an anomaly more related to his truck being a CA SO (std output) engine than any differences in the Smarty and the TST. My 05. 5 is an absolute fire breathing monster with the Smarty alone. I bought it from TST, and talked to Mark, who is the owner/engineer at TST. What he told me is this: Smarty delivers more fuel on the bottom end, TST on the top. The Smarty on SW 5 will drain your fuel rail if you push it hard enough. I don't currently own a TST, so I don't have any experience with it.

A Smarty/TST/MP-8 stack is a really good combo, offering all the benefits of Smarty plus a little power and some adjustability.

I'm running Smarty TNT #9, and TST 4/1, 4/0, or 3/1 depending on how the truck's feeling that day :-laf. The TS MP-8 usually stays around 10% unless a short burst of power is needed. The extra pressure adds a pretty good kick, but Don M says this should be used minimally. I try to manually back off the pressure when getting out of the throttle to prevent high pressure spiking that occurs until the rail bleeds off excess pressure.

I have an older R37 TST, with the 4 newer programs. I am not able to run any tq settings on the TST, with any Smarty software. Something about my truck does not like it. I get popping/bursting whatever you would like to call it, too much timing or fuel or both down low.

I can add TST hp settings, and this works well for me. I run the Smarty as my primary weapon, 411 wild tm sw#9, EZ on 2 or 3, TST hp 1, 2, or 3, on 3, I hold a steady 22500 rp at WOT, but my egt's will break 1400 pretty fast. Normally I run just the Smarty and the EZ, that gave me the #s in my sig. The TST is just an added benefit:D.

Don't missunderstand, I love the TST, it by itself is very powerful, if it had tm like the Smarty, I would like it more. But to get the same power from the TST as the Smarty, you have to deal with high egt's.
