How would that drive?. . will a 18. 5 housing from my old first gen turbo fit it if teh 22 is too big. . ? I don't think so. The 22 housing shouldn't be too bad . . i would have to make a 5" down pipe etc for it...

just open for ideas or info if people have tried it. .

Thanks

This is not a good idea at all for a streetable truck, I had a guy try it one time and it took a really good shot of nos to get it to stay lit at 4k on the track. The charger is too big to use with a big housing they really need to be modified for a 16-17cm housing to build enough drive pressure to make them driveable on the road.

we have had several built for just what you are talking about and they work really nice, just not as a stock bolt on charger.

the exhaust wheel on the hx55 is to big for the h1c 18. 5 exhaust housing. the 22 housing is to BIG for a street truck. it would take a lot of fuel and some nos to get it to spool. if you want an hx55 try to find one with a smaller housing. look in my sig for the number to adkins diesel performance. he sells hx55 that are a direct bolt on for our trucks.
