Florida man creates giant rubber band ball - Yahoo! News

No slam on those of you from Florida. but I recently visited for the first time, and while I met many fine people, I found the terrain to be featureless and boring.
(I hail from New England)
I can honestly say that even though I was with people for whom I care a great deal, I was quite homesick.
The terrain has to be the cause, and I'm afraid that should I be required to make my home in Florida, I'd probably resort to lunacy, such as making a giant rubber band ball, before too long. :D

Did you find the beach bunnies featureless and boring? When you're snowed in this winter, I'll be fishing in the surf of the featureless and boring Emerald Coast.

What does 'snowed in' mean? Even during the Great Blizzard of '78 in Worcester, I was out and about. :)

They asked him what he plans to do now that the ball is gone. His response was that he wants to break the current record of over 2 minutes for being a human torch.

I'm not much of a beach bum, but I did notice alot of attractive women there, of all ages.

I'm happily married anyway, so the ladies are a zero net benefit.

When you're snowed in this winter,

Snowed in!?

Living in the sun and surf, you might not realize this, but these little Turbo Diesel trucks we celebrate here can push snow mighty well...

(snowed in  :-laf:-laf:-laf)

I'd probably rather be bass fishing, and I'd give that a crack before I started making a giant rubber band ball.

Anyway, kowaliga, I'm happy that you're happy.

It's just not my cup o' tea. :D

I'm just messin' with 'ya. To live on the Gulf coast ( in a fantastic house, not a condo ) as opposed to visiting, is a whole 'notha experience. Fall afternoons of football on the beach is 'da bomb for me.
