i saw a probably wished he had a cummins the other day, a srt-10 pulling a good sized bumper pull travel trailer that looked in the 27-30 foot range, bet that thing passes everything but a gas station :-laf

Im impressed that he was even actually able to move that trailer with that little car. Especially uphill. Wonder if I could pull my trailer with my mg.

I think that was the front tire smoking. I bet he spun all the way up, and down, that hill! :-laf Pretty funny! :D

They do that all the time in Australia. No idea why.
Sorry old chap

BUT that was in England, very english acents. Typical Bloddy brits!

The Ausy's have bigger cars than that, lots of V8s and tonnes of diesels in everthing from cars, 1/2 ton pickups to the mighty road trains, 3 to 5 trailers behind one tractor.

This is a Western Star Constellation 4964EX.

The truck is used to haul cattle from the Northern Territory Austrailia. The Cummins `Signature' diesel (650hp and 2250 lb/ft torque) was selected for its power, giving higher speeds on long runs. The gearbox is an Eaton RTLO 22918B, 18-speed, driving into Meritor RT-52 axles with 4. 56:1 diff's with diff' locks. Rear suspension is AD252-10 air ride by Neway.

It pulls triple road trains rated up to 140 tonne and 53 metres overall length.
