New Duramax inline 6 turbo diesels, 175hp/400 torque, 275hp/860 torque, high pressure common rail injection. Sounds almost like the 'o3 cummins.

almost like the new 03 isb, but that inline duramax is competing with the 3126 cat engine. . it's a 7~ish liter engine like the cat with the same torque, a little less HP

Inline Duramax

During a recent trip I saw a GMC 4500, this is one with the small dump forward cab, with the 175 hp in it. The engine ofcourse sits under and slightly to rear of cab. It is open, that is how I was able to see the engine plate.

I hope the MAX is more reliable than the 3126 CAT !!!
