I am putting in my newly rebuilt 4500 transmission in on the ground with only the front end jacked up. Never again, I'm 54 and it ainta gonna happen anymore. This will definately be my last transmission without a lift. What really bites is I got the transmission all the way up and the input shaft wouldn't go into the pilot bearing. Then I discover the reason is that I put in the throw out bearing arm in backwards. Now I gotta pull the bell housing and switch the arm around. BITES, BITES, BITES, BITES, BITES, BITES BITES!!!!!!!!!!
Ok, whining and crying over.
