Here's a 20 shot group at 100 yds out of a new . 280Imp that just got put together... . Fireforming brass and breaking the barrel in at the same time using 180 Sierra seconds ... ..... These were shots #20-40 down the tube, cleaning every five shots..... Not sure what happened on that one flyer, but I'd wager it's my fault. This rifle has promise so far. When we develop loads, we go to 400 yds to tell the difference between them.

I checked the geographic tables for TX, you fired that flyer during a 2. 8 tremor shock wave on the Richter. The target moved just before impact.

Amazing for a hunting gun, I assume that is what the 280 Ackley Improved is for. I have seen some amazing groups from "hunting" guns however in my time. Care to enlighten us with what the rifle components are? I am very acutely aware that the best parts poorly assembled end up becoming an extremely expensive exercise in frustration.

I do that with my new 243 Remington Predator Model 7 at 200 yards but without the flyer.

IT's not a hunting rifle. It's a match rifle, 1 1/8 straight blank, Broughton barrel. It's not an Ackley, it's an improved . 280, similar, but with less taper to the casing and a 30* shoulder and . 315 neck.

I will never post another target again...
Why not? It's all about fun in the end. If you're serious about it, you'll get better with time and rounds down the barrel. I posted this as there have been questions as to why we shoot at 400 yards when developing loads... . That group shows there is no way to tell how much better the load is until it's moved out to see how it spreads out... . a 2" group at 400 vs. a 1. 5" group at 400.
