Santa says...

I'm a grandpa again!!

The main road has a sharp incline and stoplight just before hitting the highway which the town forgot to plow and sand. Many vehicles were showing the wonderful engineering known as one leggers. Many cars and trucks thought if they spun that tire fast enough they could melt the snow and get traction. There was enough tire smoke to look like a john force burnout.

People were jumping out of their cars and pushing ‘stuck’ cars. I saw this poor old e350 spinning both back tires while sliding backwards down the hill. He stopped just short of hitting the guardrail with the backend while putting the front tire across the yellow line. I thought to myself…. self here is the perfect time to help the fellow man, the people not as well off as you (remember I said he owns a drof) so I pull along side him and explain about the chain sitting on the floor behind me. So I get the guy up on the on the highway, just as we finish unhooking a cop pulls up behind us. The face looks like he just got a drivers license they gut looks like he knows the local donut shops well. The officer says get the paperwork I’m written you both up for obstructing traffic and while looking at me ‘and you are not a tow truck, I’ll take care you of soon’. The guy I helped started arguing with the cop and finally the cop told us to leave.

That is unbeleivable that the cop would be such a prick. I always go out of my way to help motorist stuck in the snow. The only when I haved passed on was today. It was a teenage boy that had run his mustang up on top of a concrete median. His wheels were off the ground. He was inside the car embarassed as could be. As I drove by, I couldn't help but notice the temporary tag. I asked the wife,"Do you think it was a Christmas gift?" :D Anyway, I decided I would do a lot more damage to the bottom dragging him off. Hopefully the tow truck driver was gentle with the removal and the bill.
