This transmission is supposedly off a 99 1 ton?

Does anyone recognize it. Being sold as a 5 speed. Any info would be useful. Its mated up to a 400 small block via converter of some type. nv4500.



Does this sound right? Is there a gas transmission and a diesel transmission?



I was looking at the engine for a different project and was suprised by the transmission.

GM used the 4500 also. It is a bit different than the Dodge version. Bellhousing and input shaft for sure.

Post the GM or Dodge Assembly code. Its a paper sticker on top of the NV-4500 with a bar code and real number. I have a listing of assembly codes and can tell you year produced and what type of truck it was in. The assembly code is ONLY on that sticker on the top of the transmission.
