I think spraying the rocker panels/lower sides of the trucks will be great protection but look awful. Especially how the black line-x fades after a year or so. .

Will Line-X take paint? (Dare I say it!?) Subaru for years had an overcoat with a texture similar to Line-X on their lower panels, painted to match. Only time I noticed it was when I washed it.

from what the owner told me thats how they color match. spray it on, then paint it with a larger flake than normal.
