Guys, I need help with a PS ambulance.

Toyotas with diesels???

We had a Festivel here in Lanesville Last weekend and we have a killer truck and tractor pull. We have 2 classes of street trucks 6300lbs 4x4 and 7500lbs 4x4 and we had 2 maxipads pull one was in the light class and one was in the heavy class. but these things pull just like Cheby says they will "Like A Rock" neather one broke the 200' mark. The one that pulled in the light class was a friend of mine, I was running the scales and measuring hitch hights, and when he came off the track to rewaigh he said his clutch was slipping but I didn't smell no clutch. I asked him if he didn't just run out of power and he said he had plenty of power

My opinion is the maxipad is like any other v8 diesel when the rpms start to drop in a hard pull you can forget about getting them back cause they're gone.

SIX IN A LINE POWER ALL THE TIME

So... ... . what trucks won each class??

You say the maxipads failed, and you say the V8's drop power, but I didn't see any glowing reports of Dodge's with Cummins power kicking butt.

A guy by the name of David Gress won the 7500lb class with a 98 dodge with a cummins. He was turning close to 700hp and put on a good show stuck that sucker right in the sand pile. The second place was anouther dodge cummins not sure what kind of mods it had done to it. and 3rd place was a dodge cummins that was bone stock except for right before the pull I helped Jason put a EZ(I think thats what they call them) on it. It pulled really good for being a regular cab long bed, the other two dodges were extended cab duellys. The 6300lb class was won by a 78 ford with a 460 in it and I can't remember the rest of the light class finishers. There were a couple of good running powersmokes but they both broke rear driveshafts. The track was very sticky so bad that when you walked acrossed it it stuck to your boots.

I didn't pull because I don't think my stock clutch would like it very much, too much hp and not enough clutch.
