I recently purchased a 01 cummins and Im loving it! Big difference from a toyota tacoma!:-laf My question is do any of you guys see a problem with using the port on the AirDog to run the sending unit for a fuel pressuse guage? Im not concerned with the dummy low psi light that most use that port for, I want to know actual pressure. I also bypassed and pulled out the OE fuel filter assembly and pump, so from that port on the AirDog forward to VP is straight 1/2 inch hose so I wouldnt think pressure at the VP would differ much than at the AirDog... what are some of your guys's thoughts?

I honestly cannot see a reason why not!!! I do think as others have mounting the sensor directly to the VP port is not a good idea. Just way to much vibration and fuel hammer to sensor. That is why most of us used a flexible fuel line from VP as in my case to the sensor I mounted on the fire wall. You mounting at the AirDog certainly solves this problem.

Thanks for the input guys! I honestly couldnt see a problem with using the AirDog as the output for the guage just wanted some other opinions. Its a nice clean install in that location and like Bob said, gets you away from the fuel hammer, heat and vibration of the engine that seems to kill those sending units. Im off to start the install!! Thanks again guys!
