What is "RUG"?

Nate... RUG. . Regular unleaded gasoline.

I've always considered the VP as being fragile. Not something you want to hear when discussing the mighty Cummins engine. The latest pumps however (along with a gauge, up-graded LP, filters, cooling etc..... whew!) do seem to be fairly reliable.

If I can get 150k to 200k out of my current VP I'll be OK with that. Kind of like a clutch... . you know it's wearing out but you expect a decent life from the thing. The OEM VP44 going out at 70,000 miles just was'nt going to cut it. Luckily I was still under warrenty with that one. The next one's on my dime!

Still beleive a little Bio (B10-B20) should increase the life of the VP. JMO
