I've had a couple of occasions when the throttle cable on my 92 D350 will disconnect from the accelerator pedal. There is a plastic fitting at the end of the cable, made up of two pieces. These are coming apart, allowing the cable to seperate from the location at the top of the accelerator pedal where it attaches. I can reach down, and press them back together and they will stay for a while, but I have to remember to check periodically to prevent this issue from occuring.
I have had the truck since April 2013 and this has occured 4 times now. Has anyone had to correct this issue in the past? Thanks for any suggestions you can offer. Roger

probally time for a replacement . Ive had it happen on a car before .

If you go to a bike shop or a lawn mower shop you could get a couple of cabel clamps and make it work

Ive also seen these clamps at some hardware stores as well
