My sister pulled in the driveway with her 94 and said that when she let off the throttle and got on the brakes, the truck accelerated without her foot on the gas. I took a look at the throttle cable and it's frayed between the ball end on the pump lever, and the small rubber boot that it slides through (about 3 inches from the ball end). Is this a recall on her 94? Thanks

Edit: just found it over at DodgeRam.org

I just was under hood on my 96 and noticed the same deal with my cable on mon all frayed with 1/2 the strands gone. Went to dealer and got the cable 52. 00 and 10 min to install my self. Aint worth having a dealer tie up truck for 2 days messing with the truck for 50. 00... Mopar # for cable is c48974077aa d218a cable pkg I think 94 would be the same?
