Throttle Cable Recall

Has anyone received a recall notice #970 for the throttle cable? Mine was replaced a few months after the truck was new and I noticed today that the 'meat hooks' are forming again. What a POS! My Toyota Tercel has a larger throttle cable!



Any tips on the replacement?

I never got the recall but mine was replaced with the new style under warranty. I assume I won't get a notice since it's in the computer.
