Attention: TDR Forum Junkies While solving my ebrake problem I found that the throttle cable from the firewall to the TPPS was severely worn. I mean like down to 2 cables. I trimmed the broken strands and ordered a new one for $55 and drove the truck only about 50 miles or so until I got the new part a week later and replaced the original at 91K.
Have any of you had the same experience or had the cable break while on the road? Just curious?
