went on a long tow this weekend through an area with a lot of traffic so was unable to use the cruise control. man the throttle effort is stiff! it'll wear out your calf. I had the dealer perform the TSB for the bucking problem a while back and noticed an difference in throttle effort around town, but hadn't taken the truck on a long tow since then. Is there anyway to get my dealer (or me) to reinstall the orginal throttle setup from the factory? what part number would I need? I will put up with the bucking problem. I literally had a knot growing in my calf muscle by the time I go where I was going.

They probably installed stronger return springs to control the bucking. Never noticed too much extra effort after I changed mine over. I would first check to see that they didn't put things back together wrong. Pull the throttle though it's travel from under the hood and look for binding. You could also lube the balls and sockets on the linkage, they sometimes bind.
