My 2003 5. 9 (auto) has a dead spot in the footpeddle at about 15 to 20 MPH. I think it is the Throttle position censer, but what do you guys think? I think this is a 911 post because I can not drive it in town!

Do you guys know the best place to get one, besides the dealer?Oo.

If you hate the dealer, you'll be real unhappy with the price of a TPS. Do a search on here for TPS and you may find another solution.

I just got back from the dealer. Listen to this one... When I went there earlier in the week they said it was a warranty repair. I just had to remove my Edge Juice. So I did. Brought the truck back in and while they were replacing the part the lady at the service desk came up to me and said she just found out that is used to be warranty but isn't anymore. The tech was about half done with the work she said. What do I want to do? Well, I need the truck so I said just do it. So, I take it in the ### and the $$$ for about $650 out the door. I look at my invoice and notice there is a charge of $29 and some change for misc shop charges. Turn around go back inside and ask what is with the misc charges? Guy says all invoices at all shops have that for misc items like brake cleaner, rags... . I said $29 bucks of brake cleaner and rags to replace one sensor? He said, yeah, thats kinda high, they base it on a percent of total job cost. At least they refunded that fee.

It would be nice to keep the dealerships honest. But I bet with added fines they would just charge us more for everything to make up for it.

You think Dodge dealers are bad, try hospitals. $35. 00 for 4 aspirins & $15. 00 for a bandage. Makes no sense.
