Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Throttle Position Sensor Problem

I have a '02 2500, 4x4,6spd, with 248,000miles, and have added the Edge Attitude with Juice. I have had repeated problems with the TPS (throttle position sensor). I have replaced it twice already and now I am needing to replace it a third time. I got just over 100k miles out of the original TPS. However I have barely got 50k miles out of the 2 replacements. Has anyone else had similar problems? Is there a different TPS I can put in with a better result than the dealer replacement? Is there an article? if so which issue?



To anyone who has this problem be very careful as you loose all throttle response when you are driving. Thank You Skip

I replaced mine with Timbos part. Works great... and alot less expensive.
