My 99 check engine light is staying on so I had the codes checked and it is showing "low input voltage" to the throttle position sensor. Where is the TPS located, how hard is it to change, and what is the price on them?

Thanks in advance,

Greg Davis

on the 99's in the service manual the TPS and APPS are the same thing, I just replaced mine Friday night. Cured my problems and the truck is running great. the bad news is most dealers want over $400 dollars for the stupid thing. There is a thread about trying to clean and get it running. I was able to get by for about a year doing this but finally had to buy a new one. I got mine from an online dealer that got it to me for around $380.

This is the thread:

and this is the place I ordered mine from:

Good Luck on getting it fixed!
