Throttle position sensor

What are signs that the throttle position sensor needs to be replaced?

I don't know bit my truck had to be going 42mph for it to shift into od now and before it was something like 30. my speedo is 12mph off tho.

Dropping in and out of OD and steady speed is the usual indication the TPS is malfunctioning.

Don't buy a new 1 just do a search here or PM me there is a easy fix for that you put over drive on a POT Switch that way you decide when it goes into OD Very easy to do also .

About $12 in parts from Radio Shack, thats something like a 350% mark up. But hey, its easy.
