Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) throttle positioning sencor update?

For the past few months i can be driving and all of a sudden the throttle pedal does nothing unless i back off and push back, this causes check engine light. we have tested the code and it says throttle pos. sensor. dosn't do it often it did it 2 months ago and never did it again till yesterday. once U back off and reset it drives no diff than usual. can anyone help?

What codes have you pulled? One of em should be Apps Sensor voltage lower than expected.
