Throttle stuck, 3,500 RPM

Wow, that was weird. The one Smarty flaw I don't like.



I was coming through town tonight and someone stopped kind of quick in front of me. Well I was in the intersection and the light went yellow.



I planted my right foot and slipped the left off the clutch, it was wet out and I was in 2nd gear. The tires spun and I got some major wheel hop going on. I pushed the clutch in and let off the throttle, but the RPM's hung at like 3,500-3,600 RPM. I put it in 3rd and let the clutch out and they came down.



I have heard of this before, but have only had it happen with a Beta program, not this one.

Mine will do that too. But I don't think it is Smarty related. It will do it in stock mode as well. I was told it was to do will emisions. If you put it all the way to the floor and then let off it will stay wot for about 3 seconds and then back down.

I noticed that I had a similar issue when running pressure boxes cranked up on my '03. I'm not sure it's the same, but it would "hang" at high rpm until the rail pressure dropped off.



My new truck with an auto seems to do this stock, which is weird...

My 05 did that stock... . havent had it happen on my 06
