2006 Cummins RAM 2500 shortbed. No aftermarket installations on it. Started up normally, put into reverse and after a few feet went to full throttle by itself and had to back it into a snow bank to stop and shut off the ignition. According to the local dealer, there are no codes and says there is nothing they can do. I bent up the bed and snowmobile trailer tounge during this exciting ride. If anyone else has experienced this, please let me know. Now in contact with Chrys. corp about it.

Dont want to pick on you or anything... Did you have big snow boots on. The few incidents I know of and it has happened to me once is that you accidentally touch the gas while your foot is on the brake when the truck starts to go more you push harder which reults in more gas. Not saying thats what happened but just giving a possible reason

I am familiar with your suggestion, however no boots were involved. I have experienced that before. In this case, foot was on the accelerator to back up and it took off.

It has been driven

Drove to the dealer for checkout, and have about 80 miles on it since, but as you can imagine, I am very much on the alert for another failure. Still waiting for Chrysler rep to call back.
