Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Throw out bearing

I just installed my new clutch a week ago and I started my truck up this morning and with the pedal pushed in it was makeing a very bad noise. So then I ended up crawling uder my truck and found the eight ball bearings stuck in the gap between the engine and transmission. Has anyone experinced this problem after installing a heavier clutch? Just courious.

I always replace the throw-out bearing when doing a clutch job whether it looks bad or not.

It's easy to replace at that time, and a major pain to replace a few weeks later.

I realize that WE (you and I) should have but I remember that you said, "Aw, I don't think it would hurt if you used the same one again. " :{ Boy I hope that the other stuff that you touched doesn't fail.

At least you should already know, and have laid out, all the tools needed to remove the transmission.

Its just a little sarcasm since I was the one who was there helping him change the clutch. I guess you guys did not know that so it sounded like I was being a @$$. Paul knows I was just kidding.
