Thunder in Muncie

I think this is the place to ask about this, but does anybody

know anything about Thunder in Muncie, does it even exist?

It has been replaced by an event called The Diesel Nat'ls @ Indy. . or something to that effect, pretty much the same gang, just a bigger venue. Also, some of the first gen guys have whats called SOP... Smoke Over Peru, over in Ohio, but watch those guys, some sound somewhat scary!! :-laf

Thanks alot, I did a search and found a website for the DHRA Online - Welcome and found some info.

It says there having the "Thunder in Muncie" on 5/17 , so I guess we'll see If I can go?

What your thinking of as thunder in muncie has become the event in Indy on 5/31-6/1. The 5/17 Thunder in Muncie is sled pulls only I believe. What was known as thunder in muncie moved to Indy 2 years ago. So if your looking for a big event with sled pulls, drag racing, dyno, vendors, show & shine, etc then your looking for the event in Indy.
