Going To Muncie?? See You There!!!

Pulling at the Buck!!!

Just got back from Thunder at Muncie WHAT A BLAST ! The sled pulls were AWESOME. I even got my old crew cab up on the dino :D . Unfortunately I had to miss the drags :{ to get ready for work tomorrow. Hope to do it again next year.

KyleOo. Oo. :D :D

What a great event, I got to meet many off the TDR chat and message boards!

Texas Diesel Kid also beat me in the quarter mile!!

:D :D

We all had a great time also. . But I would like to know, What happenned to Kent Crowder's truck. He was the one from Schied Diesel that looked like it scattered at the end. Can anyone tell us the rest of the story?

What a great event. Thanks to jwilliams3, xavier, and darrellb for changing my fuel filter. 3 guys on a fuel filter change???

It was a good event and well worth the trip (only three hours for me). Got to meet several folks from these boards and some others who don't use the boards. Convoyed with Case500D in our first gens.

The highlight for me was talking with Piers. What a wealth of knowledge. He answered many questions I had on mods to my truck and where the money would be best spent. Got a 16 cm housing from him. Thanks Piers! :D

Most of the other vendors were also helpful. I bought my new guages there too. My kids enjoyed the pedal tractor race and the dunk tank. The pulls were amazing. :--)

Thunder Rocks!

We had a blast. I was good to see our "local" folks and put faces to names from the board.

The sled pulls were a blast to watch, we were right down at the end and got to see the carnage close up. Wow, that makes snowmobile racing look affordable. Congrats to SledPuller and all the others and thanks for the show.

I'm working on the pictures from the event. I have over 300 pics (some in digital and some in 35mm) so it will take me a while to make them available. If you want to add to the collection I'll be happy to add your digitals, please send them via email. I don't have many of the dyno, so if you want to share, I can use them.

We want to thank Eric McBride and his "staff" for all the

hard work they put in to get this event together!

Thanks Eric, and thanks for the ride your truck!

Also, my personal thanks to Tom Meers and his new

company (Black Mountain Diesel) for the excellent

job he did in installing a TST fueling box and other

"accessories" on my sons new 2001 24 valve!! Also

my thanks to: Doug Smith (jetpilot) for the help in

the install of the injectors, to Steve St. Laurent for

helping to "feed wires through holes", Doc, Greg,

George and everyone who helped and supported

us at the "pit area" (Tom's campsite)!! If I have

forgotten anybody I apologize!!

Re: who is who

That's me handing Fuller his well deserved plaque. I'm on the right and Jim is on the left in the picture.
