Tom - below his signature see the underlined 04 DODGE PICS AND INFO- that is the link he's suggesting.

Mike - Really good pictures and info. By the way was the Duramax - head gasket a warranty covered thing? Man what a PIA to work on - it's like a plumbers nightmare with all the pipes and lines etc. If not I'll bet the labor bill was AWSOME:--)!!! After looing at the 10 pages of pictures it makes me glad I have an ISB = (my definition of course) in-line six banger :-laf

Hoot. .

Nice Job on the trac bar deal. The Thuren unit is one tough looking item and should do the trick.

How do you like the Carli parts on the front end?. I have been thinking about something different for my old disgusting looking 2nd genner and they make nice parts.

The last work on my front end I did was a Solid Steel DSS Brace and their Third Gen Trac Bar conversion. It has shown to be absolutely the best money I have spent and I am sure glad they talked me into it. No more wander and when you got the 12v's tach pinned below 4g's and the speedo below 120 she sails smooth and straight, but doesn't stop very well when one of the State's newly aquired SRT-8 Chargers has the strobes on behind you and the officer who you know has a grin as wide as the car, because he knows your now buying for waking them up. Oppps, braking, thats a different thread and story, sorry for the hijack... LOL.

BTW. .

I need a set of those trumpets like yours... ... ... Andy

HEMI®Dart,

I read your experience. My bar was a perfect fit and required only nudging it into place by simply bumping it with the side of my fist. Didn't need any coercion with a hammer or tools at all.

Here is where the link is. It's possible that my web page isn't showing properly on your computer. I'm not a web genius :-laf

I fixed the page.

It worked fine with Firefox browser.

I should have simply put a disclaimer saying. .

"This page is viewed PROPERLY with Firefox Browser"

Thanks Mike!

It works now.

Don uses a heim joint on the 3rd gen T-bar axle end? I thought I read somewhere that a heim end will eventually "hammer" the mount hole oblong.

EDIT: I see that he uses a polyurethane bushing at the frame end. Forget the question.

Actually Mike. .

I have both Firefox(which I really like) and the Opera browsers. I like the Opera browser much better and it showed the link last night when I posted on this deal. Now,how do you like the Carli Parts?... ... Andy

The Carli parts are heavy duty. The skid plate that makes up the dual stabilizer setup is one major piece of fabricated/machined steel.

The Thuren track bar is the same bar Carli sells. They didn't skimp on that either.

Opera is like Netscape... all Mozilla type browsers. It's Microsoft "sheep" software that's always the pain to conform to.

Yes I compared the Kore bar and talked to the late Greg Boardman about the Kore track bar which has heims on both ends. Carli and Thuren don't think it's a good idea to use solid mounting at both ends because of sheer forces.

The Thuren bar is a lot cheaper than the Kore bar. It may be a better choice for the non BAJA racers like most of us. It would have cost me almost $600 shipped for the Kore bar. That is a couple if not a few more than I was willing to spend.

I got rid of the RevTek spacers because three of the studs they used broke. They sent me a repalcement set with stainless steel studs but I trust those less. Sold that kit on ebay. Replaced those with the Kore leveling springs.
