ticking in fuel sending unit/pump

I have had my 96 2500 for about a year, there is a clicking noise coming from the fuel sending unit/pump in the tank. you can feel the clicking too. Is this nomal?

What you are hearing is pulsations from the lift pump coming though the return fuel line. Some folks have it others don't, mine comes and goes. Don't know if I'd call it normal, but it isn't a problem.
