Ticking = Loose Injection Line Clamp

I have had an engine speed dependant ticking type of sound, I think I found the source. Often not heard at cruise, but you could hear it as you wound it up to cruise.



After finishing an oil change yesterday, I had the engine running with the hood up and heard it from the drivers side, carefully put a finger on the lines and #5 was loose in the blue saddle clamp. Tightened clamp, tinny ticking sound gone.



Didn't find much in search on this.
 
It's very important to make sure those clamps are secured.



Else the slight vibration of the injection will eventually wear the line through.



I know,, been there along the road with a 379 and a set of doubles.
