Tight Steering

I have a '99 DC and have a question. It seems I'm constantly having to make small minute steering corrections. As an example if I make a turn the steering wheel doesn't have much tendency to come back to normal. Makes no diff if I'm towing or not. The tires are good and don't have any unusual wear patterns. It's been this way since new and I have 47k miles on it now. I thought it would loosen up some with miles but evidently that isn't the case. Anyone else have this tro? Larv
