Cummins Truck Fest 2005 - Denver, CO

Working on it Trq. We still have a long road of negotiation with HRP and I don't want to interfere with the current Houston event. We'll mention it as soon as we get it nailed down.

Any news on accommodations for TiI? ( hotels or camping at the IRP? ) What exactly are you calling it now that it has moved to INDY now? Is it TiI or still TiM?

Provided I have a truck by then, looks like I'll probably be making the trip this year. Should be interesting meeting some more of you guys...

I'm starting to suffer from Muncie withdrawls guys..... Hopefully I get my Tapes converted over to VHS... and sent to John for all to see soon!

June 24->26 = Friday/Saturday/Sunday

TiM @ IRP

So what's the earliest we can get into the campground?

Also; nothing wrong with a party (!!); but I'm curious if families should camp elsewhere? Or perhaps there could be a "quiet zone" in the campground (a section of lots set-aside for families/quiet) so campers with kids could tuck the 'lil ones into bed and still enjoy the festivities in the campground.

Don't flame me too bad over that inquiry; it may be that it's just better for those of us with kids still in tow to simply stay off site... frankly; I'd rather do that then ruin the fun for others. But with 100 lots it may be easy enough to set aside a quiet zone.

ps: you know it's a good annual event when it has YEAR-AROUND BUZZ!!!

So what's the earliest we can get into the campground? Is there an event there on Saturday (must be); so we wouldn't be allowed in until what time Sunday?

Ummm, That would be April 24-26th. The calender I have shows June 24-26 being Friday - Sunday

That will be an hour and 35 minute drive each way Ed.

Eric,

I did a mapquest and it says an hour and it is about 50 miles. I don't think an hour isn't bad after taking 350 miles just to get there from where i live. But the thing is it is a nice campground. It has been one of the nicest and cleanest that we have been to. That is why we are hung up on it. We also take the whole week before as vacation time relaxing.

oops, it's an hour and 35 form my place, not New Castle. I made it in 35 minutes to the East Side the other day, so as stated before, depends on Indy traffic. Your right that campground is awesome.

OOPs, yes, there will be dry camping available on site. Bring electrical cords just in case you can find an outlet. No campfires and we can do it. $10/ night for camping in a trailer, $5 for tent camping. The new heads are nice and have showers two showers in each the men's and women's. They are located on the West side of the track toward the finish line. We are checking on primary spots on the East side of the drag strip and pricing now. You can watch all the action from the comfort of your camper!

Oo. Oo. Oo.

I can watch from the roof of the camper! where have i seen this befor..... NASCAR! anywyas where will we be doing the pulling is what i want to know, in the grass? also will this be one big contained event as fars the pulling and the draging goes?
