Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Tim Barber and DTT Transmissions

After making the 4. 5 hour drive to Norfolk towing my 2001 2500 to Tim, we started attacking the transmission around 8:30, had it out of the truck in less than an hour ans as Tim figured, it was being re built by 11:00 after a few overly worn parts and a lot of laughs and jokes, we were in the truck testing it out around 4 pm transmission shifts amazing!!!!!



Never thought a drive to Virginia Beach to have a transmission rebuilt would involve soo much fun. Tim and Tim made for a wonderful day and taught me A LOT about the internals of a transmission.

Tim built my transmission. We did it over a Friday night. Same exact results. At the time I lived in Hampton, so it was only a 30 min drive for me. :-laf
