More Timberline Photos

I took several pictures at the Show 'n Shine yesterday at Timberline Dodge. I'll try to post all of them as soon as I can.

Here is Mike Clay's "People's Choice" winner.

Timberline get together

I wonder if you are being fair to every one who is there in showing the ones you say are the best???? I heard that last year N. W. Bombers did a little better than you???

Eric

I don't get what you're trying to say. I had one vote like everyone else there for the peoples choice award. I just took pictures of the trucks at the show.

Eric, RamFan never said anything about which trucks were the "best". Of the pictures that he has posted so far, all of them, except the first one of Mike Clay's, are NW BOMBer guys from the Seattle area.

I'm probably leaving something out, but here's what I know of the winners:

People's Choice: Mike Clay, Portland, OR.

Best 4X4: John Triebel, Enumclaw, WA.

Best Work Truck: Shelby Griggs, Bend OR.

Best Engine: Andy Perreault (that's me), Granite Falls, WA

I'm sorry, but I don't know who won best 2WD. Maybe someone can post that. Did I miss out on any other awards?

Sam's last name is Meshulam, he and his wife, Billie, are from Everett.

BTW, looks like we lucked out on the weather. I don't know what it's like in Portland, but it's raining pretty good up here north of Seattle right now. There would have been no way for me to get my truck ready for the show if it had been raining Thurs or Fri.

Sorry I didn't get a picture of your engine or Shelby's work truck. I didn't know you won till this A. M + I ran out of disk space on the camera. Ditto on Sam and Billies last mane. I talked with them quite a bit, but the last name slipped my mind. Nice couple and a great looking truck too!

Hope to see everyone again next year.

Chris

Hey Chris, thanks for taking the pics and posting them here. It was great seeing you again. . too bad we live so far apart.

..... see ya all next time.

(this time I WILL be prepared)

:)

Wow... some nice looking Rams... all cleaned up. Congrats to the winners... and all who entered! I spent saturday shoveling ditches and cutting down trees, but I got my road in. I was thinking of the fun at timberline all day long.

The highlight of my day was when the road was complete, I drove my Ram up to the top and my father-in-law followed in his ford. We watched a beautiful sunset, then got in for the drive back to his house... . FUN... he spun out in the loose dirt, so I was going to cheat and use 4WD... I decided not to, and walked right up the hill... of course, I reminded him of it about, oh a hundred times!

Sure wish I could have been down there in Portland, tho!

Yes it was a great time. Good to meet some people finaly. Poor John looked a little tired. But the Hard work paid off. Congradulations everyone!

No need to apologize, Chris. A little bit of my truck can be seen next to Sam & Billie's (the blue/driftwood CC w/the shell). Thanks for posting the above pictures. It sure was a fun day.

Lurking Pics???

I know Dave P. got a picture of me standing behind my truck with the trophy, and I think Bob V. got some also. I suspect there will be more photos surface in the next 24 hours or so. I had my digital camera along, and left it in the truck all day

Shelby

Hey Rob, glad to hear your road is coming along! Your truck probably could have taken the "work truck award" if you'd entered it "as is" this weekend :D

Rob has an AWESOME chunk of land, I went and spec'd it out a couple Saturdays ago. 161 hilltop acres with a PANORAMIC VIEW  Maybe a great future BOMBer rendezvous site??

Timberline was great, most off all getting to meet some of the Oregon BOMBers. Looking forward to next year's event.

Vaughn

Shelby great looking truck. It was great meeting you. Rob we missed you there hope to see you up in Washington some time this summer at a bombers get together. I know Bob V got a lot of pictures and he is planning to post them soon.

Mike

I knew Shelbys truck would win! that thing is awesome!, is anybody going to post any pics of it here?. As for the rest, realy nice trucks guys, if you ever have like 2 weeks with nothing to do, you should ride out to CT and meet up with Tool Man and the rest of us.

Mike Brolin's truck

Here is a picture of Mike's truck. I should have taken one of the CB mount too.
