Time for a new clutch... Dual disc opinions

I ordered the SBC mild dual disk from Relentless Diesel today. AM I going to regret this? What are people's impression who are using one for daily driving?

I just installed a Haisley Street Puller DD and it drives as good as stock on the street. You won't regret it!. It behaves different than stock, but doesn't take long to get the hang of it.

I currently hace a southbend dd I mostly do stop and go driveing and it is great you will get use to the stiffness of the pedal. You will love the 3rd gear launches

How bad is the noise with the clutch pedal out and the truck out of gear? I got the 3600 6 puck.

I have the 3850 12-button and with the clutch pedal OUT (meaning NOT pressed down) there is no noise whats-so-ever. However when you push down on that pedal their's no mistaking its a dual disk! ;) However a mitchell clutch is louder when pressed(no slams of any kind intended). :-laf

sick_ram is right you will get used to the pedal pressure. I have problems going from my truck to my old 79 Chevy non-hydraulic clutch..... my foot almost slams against the floor when I push the pedal! :-laf Also, from my truck to my g/f's '02 6spd turbo bettle is fun too! :-laf

The Haisley clutch has no noise when the clutch is pressed in, but there is a rattle in neutral and a little gear lash noise in 5th when the RPM is below 2000 and you are hard on the throttle. It is not bad at all. I actually like the rattle in neutral because now the truck actually sounds like the older cummins trucks!! I also upgraded my hydraulics, which really made the pedal effort a lot easier. It is not much more than stock now. sick ram is right, you will love the third gear launches!!!

Noise when cold isn't bad. . . once my transmission oil gets warm it's a little louder with the clutch in. I am overall amazed by the performance of this clutch. My old one must have been on it's last legs with a TST?EZ stack. My milage has gone up... the truck feels like a new rig when I finally get it in gear. This thing HOLDS. It is the 3600 6 puck DD.

I am a little unhappy with how long it takes to shift, and how rough the synchronization is, but I'll get used to it. It's not going to break anything is it?
