It started off as the common engine knock that was “fixed” by swapping the #5 & #6 injectors around. After I got it back I noticed a tick in the engine. I took it back and they proceeded to tear my engine apart looking for the problem. Well they found it, a broken piston skirt on #6. GREAT
! The service advisor advised me that they are ordering a new short block but they are on back order (of course :{ ). I only have 36,000 miles on it. What do you think caused this, and how long do you think its going to take to get it fixed?
