revx diesel additive ?

sae 15-40 only in Cummins?

I stick with the Cummins spec. If it’s on the bottle, it has to pass muster, right? I believe CES20081 or CES20083 are the pre DPF specs. I’ve been picking up Valvoline syn blend at Walmart that has both these specs, at a decent price. It’s a red bottle.

CES 20078 (CI-4) is the pre-DPF Spec.

CES 20086 (CK-4) is the recommended spec for DPF trucks.

CES 20081 (CJ-4) is permitted for pre and post, but not recommended anymore.

AMZ/OIL 15-40 Diesel Marine. NON LE oil.

I had excellent Blackstone reports running 10k on my 98 12V.

I was actually contemplating that but upwards of $110.00 oil change on a fixed income is not reasonable. $130.00 assuming no discount and the 110 was at 25% discount. Amsoil is not the only one with those kind of numbers tho.

I sure miss the days when you bought the brand and weight of the oil and walked out the door. It's a real mess anymore. I read somewhere where Travellers and Super Tech were probably the same oil.

My buddy with the automotive machine shop sends every reman that doesn’t have roller valve train out with a bottle of ZDDP. I don’t know the mfg of the product he uses but the chemical makeup is surely the same. It’s all zinc compound.
