time for a real dog to win the show

it seems like year after year, the toy and terrier dogs win at westminster. this year i'd like to see the newfoundland josh take it. after all who would you like to count on if you were in a tight spot. a dog that could pull you out, or one that you'd have to fasten to your belt buckle to save? by the way, i am a little biased here.....

BTW: I was half asleep this morning listening to the radio and the DJ was talking about giving a newfoundland a bath is a nightmare? She said something about oil starts pumping out of the dogs coat?

the best dog ive ever owned, but very time consuming as far as grooming goes. smart, loyal, friendly, and huge. the huge part does what i want , as far protecting his territory..... wouldnt harm a fly

A Springer won. Glad to see a sport dog win. While the show is interesting, some of those dogs are BU! I was watching a different show a few weeks back and the Lab they had on there didn't even look like a lab to me. Who needs standards? Just a good dog...
