Howdy all,

In the last 2 weeks, I have met, either in person or via the TDR site, 3 "new" members in the Placerville/Cameron Park/Rescue/PollockPines areas that I hadn't known of before. That has prompted me to think we need to have another Placerville Waffle Shop get together for a weekend breakfast.

All are welcome - wives, girlfriends, children, neighbors, everyone, so come on over!!

The following dates are good for me:

June 15, 22, 23, 29

July 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28

Let me know what you think. Either respond here, PM me or direct email. My home number is 530-626-1275 and cell is 530-305-5279.

Update:

Based on folks from Reno, and the Bay area not being able to make it until July, it looks like we'll push this back to July on one of the above listed dates.

I will be out there exploring you backyard through the 31. Traveling over all the granite slab, forest from Lake Tahoe to Georgetown. I will be traveling all the way from the midwest

DHatfield,

You going to do the Rubicon backwards with the CJ?? Sounds like a great trip! All good Rubicon adventures either start or finish in Hangtown! Have fun.

KKaiser, Yes I am going to be running the Rubicon Backwards. Last August when I was there I did it running the normal way Georgetown to Lake Tahoe. I am hoping the running in reverse will make it more challenging exspecially the Big Sluice since the normal way was a little tricky in spot, but it did not strech the legs of the Jeep so trying a different route. I am going to run the Duzy/Erishem Trail in August as well since I heard it is harder, more senic and funner the the Rubicon, can't wait for that trip either.
