Time to sign up for the "Friends of the TDR"

It looks like the "friends of the TDR" has become a reality. I just signed up myself. It's in the "TDR Member Exclusives" area. It's called the Travel Companion. You will need the password to enter it. But it looks like a great idea is in the works. Ya'll(that's southern for You all) sign up

I got that error because I don't have a home page. I just typed some garbage in the home page field to fool it. I e-mailed Ken about it.

Funny, when I click on the "member exclusives" link at the top of the page, it takes me to the "Welcome to the TDR" page. But when I click on the link in Gitchesum's post, it takes me to where I can get to the "Friends of the TDR" page. I just added my name in there on the Washington page.

I just put my name on the list, but I would like to know how I can edit the information when needed. I'm not sure if I done it right, but I guess someone will figure it out if they need help.

My homepage is just something I was goofing off with, but it gave me an error message until I included it.

It seems the link only works from the main page. If it sends you there, hit the "member's exclusives" button from the main page and it should work.

What is it?

I know the basic idea, but there is no description of how it works etc. Perhaps a small description and some details should be posted. I know the site admin is busy right now, so its low priority, but its something to think about.

Max340... the original idea was to post if you are able to help someone traveling around the country. We would print out the states we are going thru, shove it in the glovebox for future reference...



You are right in asking for a few details, tho... and when the administrator gets around to it, it would be nice to have an edit function. That way, we could change phone numbers, update info, etc.



It would be nice to know that people are around you to help if needed, kind of like family... but it looks like some are already using it to advertise their services, instead of a way to help others.





I have looked at every which way, and can't figure out how I can edit mine! Any help out there?
